Mike Johnston and Eddy Thrower are two of the most dynamic drummers in the industry, but their talents and experiences go far beyond just drumming. Mike, a trailblazing drum educator from the US, is the mastermind behind Mike's Lessons, where he has inspired thousands of drummers worldwide with his innovative online lessons. But his influence stretches further than just teaching—Mike’s insights into creativity, discipline, and navigating the music industry apply to musicians of all kinds, helping them thrive both artistically and professionally.
On the other side of the pond, Eddy Thrower is not only known for his work with chart-topping rock band Lower Than Atlantis, but he's currently taking stadiums by storm on tour with Busted. As a drummer, performer, and business owner, Eddy balances life in the fast lane of the music industry with the behind-the-scenes work of running a successful business. Together, through their hit podcast Drum with Mike and Eddy, they share their hard-earned lessons on everything from surviving the tour grind to building a sustainable career in the music world.
This event, "An Audience with Mike and Eddy," will be a fun, insightful evening for all musicians—not just drummers—offering a rare chance to learn from two guys who know what it takes to make it, whether you're on stage in front of thousands or hustling to build your own path in the industry. Prepare for laughs, stories from the road, and insider tips on how to succeed in today’s music business!
